British Virgin Islands (BVI) Company
A BVI International Business Company is a popular and widely used structure for international business due to its
flexibility, ease of administrative duties and taxation exempt status.
The BVI has an independent legal and judicial environment based upon English Law, with a good international reputation for business.
The benefits of a BVI company are:
- Accepted and understood by the International Finance community.
- Zero tax payable on any trade outside of the BVI
- Flexible use of company
A BVI International Business Company must have registered offices within the BVI but the company may have corporate director.
The identity of the beneficial owner may remain confidential through the use of a corporate shareholder which holds the shares under declaration of Trust for the beneficial owner. There is no withholding tax on payment of dividends to shareholders.
The BVI has a good reputation within the international community and is widely accepted throughout the business world.
Whilst there is no requirement to file audited accounts with the authorities, a company is required to keep financial records, which reflect the financial position of a company.
